Hello neighbors,
My parents live in Vegas and I need a place to take them shooting.  Looking for a place that is AR pistol friendly and won't throw you out if you shoulder a brace.  Anyone have experience at Boulder?

Member for over 10 years. Only guns not allowed are 50BMG and above and tracer/incendiary due to the risk of impacting in Lake Mead recreation area and brush fires. Application period for new membership starts on Nov. 1 each year, but good luck. So many people apply online that the site crashes. There was a surge in demand after sandy hook and the club is maxed out with lots of people trying to get the slots that open up each year. My only issue was that they have so many organized events on weekends that there is always some part of the range closed off on saturday and sunday. The worse are the cowboy action shooters. They take up all the 25 yard bays on the member side and shoot both days and leave their set ups overnight, effectively closing those bays from saturday morning to sunday afternoon.

Nonmembers can shoot on the courtesy range for a fee.

It’s a great facility but that was always my main complaint when I was a member. I’m off weekends so having the facility not accessible on a regular basis was way too annoying to keep dealing with, and paying for the privilege.

Thanks for the information.  I guess I should add I’m going to be there over Memorial Day so I’m sure it’ll be packed.  We may wait until Tuesday to avoid the crowds.  I’d just hate to drive up there and get thrown off for shouldering a brace by some fudd RSO.

No FUDD RSOs.
Just check the website calendar to make sure the courtesy range is open.

I've been out there once with a couple members and it was a good range, they were relaxed and let you enjoy. Just tossing out another suggestion is possibly Pro Gun Club. Never had any issues at either range and RSOs are great and wont bug you unless you're being stupid.
