2014 Camry which has some odd modifications that make me wonder what the vehicle was used for.
Odd round, smaller than a hockey puck, antenna(?) stuck atop the trunk lid, and a ~3/4" black round push button mounted to the left of the steering wheel. In the trunk are multiple holes drilled in the floor on each side of the spare tire well where it looks like something was mounted. Beyond those curious items the car is in pretty decent shape with fairly low mileage.   Can anyone shed some light on these mods and for what purposes the vehicle might have been used? The Puck is vehicle positioning (not GPS for the driver, but the ability to track the car's location by the management).
I don't know what the button is for. |

I'll confirm the puck. Had a Lt who would put a tuna can over it to block the signal.

I melted some pellets down and lined the inside for added measure. Painted the can white to match the roof of the truck. JB Welded rare earth magnets to the side of the can to hold it on to the roof. |

Could well have been an investigator’s car and the holes in the trunk were for storage of a long gun.

the push button should be for safe stop. hit the button and remove the key and the car will stay running, just can't be moved
