Shaffer's Farms, Summertown, TN. About 12 miles north of Lawrenceburg in Lawrence county.
My wife and I went there for lunch last Saturday, our favorite place for real Texas brisket. We both had their brisket sandwich. It was the best sandwich I'd ever eaten in my life. We bought an extra 2 lbs to bring it home for sandwiches this week. Stock pic:  |

Joe's in algood was by far the best, but he closed down.
burnout in erwin has a pretty dang good brisket sandwich if you catch them on friday or saturday. haven't had good luck sunday. |
