Had this guy/gal in my yard early this morning.

I live about 5-6 miles east of Mt Pleasant. On a paved road haha

I have spent most of my life in Midland, we get one on the edge of town every now and then. I'm always surprised when they make it this far south. Did he find anything to eat at your place? I'm sure they are looking after the long winter nap.

I'm 80 or so miles SW of Midland

I've seen a mama bear with 2 cubs a few times on my woods walks. After the first time she didn't care.

I've seen Bobcat 1600' from my home, staring me down, and the bigger deer looking thing that left big pad tracks with no claw marks.

It was a ways away, and I didn't see any horns, and it was walking down the dirt road.

I have deer tracks in my yard daily.

I don't have pics, but folks on Hess Lake have issues with 'daBears getting into their garbage, but they're from Chicago.

Hess Lake is mostly resort and also on my daily senior citizen walk, or drive.

Beer store is on the lake

I stopped putting up the bird feeders because they became bear feeders.

One when into my garage in the middle of the day looking for a bird seed snack after I took them down

I get them occasionally, but never by my house.  That I know of.

These are about 150 yards behind the house.

Had several pics of this little guy, a little closer, obviously.

Wish I could post a video. Had a young black bear show up on a client's property and refuse to leave. Took a shot into the dirt to discourage it. Granted it was going after a bird feeder and most likely it's first year alone based on size.
