For those of you on the North Shore, Baystate in Peabody will be closing shop on Monday. The AG's letter regarding AR's put a huge damper on the FFL's in the area. Both Ray jr. and his father are great guys; it's sad to see the shop closing.

I don't live near Peabody, but this is exactly what our AG was hoping for, that most dealers would fail and close up shop.

That's why she pulled that news conference and sent out the threatening memo on 7/20/2016.

Sad to see another shop close, but we can expect a lot more of the same as much of their revenue stream has been shut down by a mad woman's threats.

I still can’t beleive she gets away with attacking legitimate businesses. Dealers should force the situation to court by continuing to sell, there are proven numbers and percentages of business lost due to the “enforcement notice” that should help win against her bullshit.

There are already 3 lawsuits against her. They will take another 3-5 years to wend their way thru the judicial system. Meanwhile dealers still have to pay bills and can't survive that long. So any victory (if there is one) at the end rings very hollow after one loses their business.
