New gun store in Grimes.  Have any of you been there, yet?  I plan on going tomorrow to check it out.

Well, I went there.  Lots of ammo, firearms(especially EBRs), cleaning supplies, scopes, suppressors etc.

How was their pricing?

Had made calls.
Had stopped in.
Not impressed at all and won’t be going back.

I’ll continue going to Scheels.

Stopped in a week or so ago.  Picked up a lightly used SW99 at a decent price.  Guy I dealt with was nice, knowledgeable.  Two other staff were in the store.  One was working on the computer, the other couldn't seem to put his cell phone down.

Nice selection of stuff, including ammo.  Prices were about average.  I'm not into suppressors, that seems to be a niche they are concentrating on.  That and high end tactical stuff, again not really my market.

Not the easiest place to find, it's tucked into a strip mall on the south edge of Grimes, just north of the Toyota dealer.  Their hours are 10 to 5 Monday to Friday.  That simply will not work in retail.  They say they want to concentrate on their web presence.  They are on Facebook alot.

All in all a good experience.  Unless they change hours I can't see me going back, at least not very often.

Do they has a SS kiosk?

Yes

It's a good place to stop if you know they have what you're looking for (huge online inventory), but nothing really special. Suppressors were all average or above typical prices, employees seem to think they know more than everyone else..

Nothing crazy, but that's to be expected. Ammo prices were higher than Scheels for sure, but they do have a SS kiosk and a few good buys. I'd definitely stop in to check it out, but I personally don't have much of a reason to return
