I submitted a bill to BCBS from an out of network provider. According to the website they approved a 50% payment.

Do I get a check in a month or something?

I asked my sister.....still waiting on a reply. She works for BCBS.


ETA: She said it depends on if BC pays the provider direct, or not. She also said checks go out weekly so it could be quick, but all kinds of things could hold it up. BUT, most of them go straight through.

I paid the provider. Submitted receipt to BCBS.
