FYI: Iowa did not exempt Qualified Retired Law Enforcement Officers from Gun Free School Zones when they exempted off duty police two years ago.

The only thing that stops an active school shooter is someone that is armed and has balls enough to run toward the gunfire and kill the perp regardless of consequences.
