I haven't got anywhere to host it, but a friend of mine is also interested, pending availability. It's a busy fall for me too, but this is something I've wanted to do for a while.

I'm interested in the content. Just to clarify is it $200 a person or $200 for the 4 hour course and which could be up to 10 people? I understand the med kits would be additional. I would like my wife and I plus 2 daughters to go through the material, just trying to figure out what the cost would be for 4 people.

What is $200 for 4h getting me? Topics covered seem solid, I just want a clearer picture.
Is it 4h of powerpoint/talking? Is it 4h that includes demonstrations on fancy/hi-tech anatomical dummies? Do we get to practice on them? Is it 4h that includes actual practicing such as doing sutures? Wound packing? Lung decompressions? Tracheotomy? What "medical kits"? Their cost? Is this "E.R doc" a resident who deals with 98% sniffles or is it an attending who spends most of their time at UofL's Room 9? How will it be different from a 2h "stop the bleed" class that is usually $25 if not no-cost to students? Or one taught by a combat medic who did time in combat and had to stabilize guys in the field without an entire hospital of support behind them? Would you post an itinerary? |
