Specifically I need to lengthen the channel in a 9mm bolt that the ejector rides in by about 1/8" or so.

Nevermind, I got it to work without modifying the bolt.

FWIW, I have a pretty complete machine shop in downtown OKC.

I usually work for beer, but liquor and boobs have also been known to provide motivation.
