We've had our house for 10 years now and never have I been able to see the bottom of the lake. Its crystal clear right now.
This was taken from my deck in about 4 ft of water. I've already found someone's boat ladder sitting on the bottom.

Does the lake have an invasive species infection of Zebra and/or Quagga mussels?

Ive never pulled a line up with a big clump of zebras like I have in Lake Erie. ETA: Just looked on ohiogamefishing.com and it certainly appears its zebras. Couple of pics of zebras on lures. |

I bet it is not clear now... We are off of the North fork of the Miami leading into the lake and I got video sent to me tonight and it was raging.... I was hammering the Saugeye this past weekend and was hoping to repeat it this weekend....with this forecast it's not very likely... It was crazy to see how clear the water was last week though, I've never seen it like that!

Still clear off our deck and slip but main lake is chocolate milk as usual after a storm. Water is way up. I saw a couple of toons about to come off their lifts. |
