Hello All,
Time to renew .... anyone been to Scranton recently? Online it has some hint that you have to drive there after making appointment to pick up an application then fill out and put in drop box and then go back after it's approved to get pics and pick it up.. what a pia two trips out and back... argh. Tell me it's not true, any other suggestions or advice. Thanks |

Give them a call and find out. Wayne Co. required 2 in person visits but waived the second visit due to the Covid pandemic.

I called they said that they are Not renewing any non-resident permits at their office. 😥
Now I am searching for a county that will..... |

Centre County was big on issuing them... Wasn't PA going to Constitutional Carry and/or open Carry? I think mine's still good, but since obtaining a Florida Licenses I haven't or won't renew the PA Licenses. |

Yeah 5 years exp. when I asked "Am I just supposed to not come to PA anymore the Sheriff Said don't bring your gun... so constitution is like tp to them.

I go to PA fairly regularly and it was worth the hassle and expense to me to get PA non-resident as well. |

I called the Wayne county sheriff's office yesterday, spoke with a very helpful and friendly woman, she said no problem come on up we can do that for you. Thanks For the Info.

This post is a bit over one month old, but I wished to add another PA county to the easy renewal list.
Here in the Western end we go to McKean County, extremely friendly, and very quick, simply walk in, fill out a two sided form, get your NIC's check and you are out the door in roughly 15 minutes. |

Thanks for the info fellas, just renewed my permit in Wayne after lapsing in Lackawanna. Renewed on line and once the references were emailed back it took a day or two before I got approved.
