I am a member of the Sangamon County region that meets at Scheels in Springfield, IL each first Monday of the month (but not in January).  Do any of you know anyone who could be a speaker for our meetings?  We are looking for veterans who have real war stories to tell, anything defense related, gun technical topics, and the fight to take back the Second Amendment.  Here is our website:

We are giving away a Beretta ARX .22 rifle for the February 5,2018, meeting and a Mossberg Shockwave 20 gauge for March 5, 2018.  We meet at Scheel's in Springfield, at 7 pm the first Monday of each month in the meeting room (but not in January) just off the gun area.  We also have a 50/50 drawing.  Ken Miller from Appleseed will speak on February 5, 2018, and Norm Clausen will show us Robert Bishop gun making tools, a Bishop rifle and a Bishop cannon on March 5, 2018.  Robert Bishop was a gun maker in Petersburg, Illinois, during the Lincoln era.  Come about 5 pm or later and join us for dinner in the cafe.
