I have about 5 870 shotguns that have been....neglected....but are overall in completely serviceable shape.  Some extremely minor surface rust on certain parts.  I could likely only bring two at a time.

I was looking to have them refinished in a simple black color.  Any suggestions in the suburbs, or do any of you guys do it yourself?

Me too.  Started with Moly Resin and switched to Cerekote apx 2009ish (can't really remember when but it's been a while).

I've done a few.  I like KGI gunkote 2400 better than cerakote.
