Gotta a upper receiver and 16" cl barrel and 12.65 midwest ind rail i need fitted but the FSB has to be shaved



does anyone do that type of work near winchester or front royal?

Middletown Firearms has a gunsmith, if you can't find anyone else, you might give them a call.

I used him once


he didnt assemble my upper with all the parts i took him

didnt notice til I got back to work after paying


let the owner know and went back s he could assemble it correctly


he charged me double

You could buy all the tools for less than the cost of the gunsmith.  That is how I got into working on ARs - got tired of waiting for projects to get done.  

A dremel tool with a cutting wheel will shave a FSB.

John Myer Custom Gunsmithing. He's on US 340 just north of US 50. Has done several jobs for me. Very satisfied with his work.

I have all the tools you'll need to assemble a complete upper.  What do you mean by "Shave the FSB?" and why would you need to do that?  Not something I've needed to do yet.  6  builds under my belt.
