I bought a box of handheld FRS radios at an estate auction and buried in the bottom was a Globalstar satellite phone.  It appears to be an early version of this one:  Sat phone

I have no way of testing to see if it works without a subscription, but it does power on.   I have both the phone and the charger.  

If anyone in the extended Arfcom family can use it, it's yours.  Free to anyone who shows up in uniform.  Resellers can FOAD.
