I shot a lot of black powder cartridge years ago. Buffalo shoots, off crossed sticks, 800 yds+. I built a 45-70 rolling block out of an old 11mm Egyptian. I've got a .54 percussion for elk but may need to downsize for the whitetails. My first choice is the pointy sticks but with the option of multiple deer, I may finish my .45 Pennsylvania flintlock.

PS:  I ain't there yet but will be rolling in at the end of the year.

Ive got a Knights LK93 , inline black powder that could use some love.

It needs bore worked, a lil pitted and needs the combo tool for breech plug/primer holder. ( $80 thru Knights , unless you make your own)

Outside looks great, i reblued it, stock is camo in great shape and has fiber sights ( neon plastic )

It was given to me and got it cleaned up some but jus not interested in inlines, i like traditional muzzle loaders, plus this takes the 409 primers and is really suited for sabot rounds, ive fired off ball rounds w/ 50 gr pyrotex. Its fine at 25 yards but not at 50 yrds.
