Good Morning,

I'm considering a move from RI over the border to CT as I dont see gun laws becoming any better here (and for the time being I am stuck here for work). Question is does anyone in the voluntown/eastern CT area have a home based FFL?  If so any problems with zoning etc? Was thinking of looking at property out there and it would be nice to go into the business (and look into getting an 07 as well).

Thanks again,

Matt

I had one in the past in Eastern Ct. If you are looking to get your FFL,  ATF will require you first to seek official zoning approval completed by your town before even processing your FFL for approval. The FFL is address specific. Get ready to sit in a public zoning meeting with a bunch of Liberal Karens saying “But the children.....”
And the Dudes saying “ I was in the military .....and we don’t need merchants of death machines in our neighborhood blah blah” blah”
Other than zoning and the ATF, the state of Ct is easy to deal with.
