It's only an hour. Company car, company gas.
I work for a pretty well known firearms company and I cover the whole state of Florida. So the hour drive a few times a week isnt bad.

Based on his/her info, they do about 22 posts a year which is almost a post every two weeks.
There should probably be a response in another week in order to keep up their average.

Well, I don't want to bust my average. I just noticed all the get-togethers etc and they all seemed to be over by the Tampa area and was wondering if they ever happen on our side? It was mostly a curiosity question.

What do you shoot and what type of shooting do you like?

If you shoot enough you tend to meet the same people at the range and it ultimately turns into its own get together.

I was >< this close to finally joining the Malabar club. Now that reloading components are unobtanium and ammo is retarded expensive I dont think I'll be shooting enough to justify the initial membership fee for a while until/if things settle out a bit. We mostly shoot Sebastian and have recently driven over to the Triple N range.

Malabar has a lot of matches one of the reasons for joining. I have a good friend that shoots at many of the Deland matches.

Nice folks. They handled a couple of suppressor transfers.
Recently noticed they have a new Pro Shop and carry suppressors.

Was a member at the TRPC for a long time before joining VC.
I like that VC opens early enough that I can go shoot and drive home past TRPC and they haven't even opened yet.

We get some early people at VCGHC. On Saturdays I'll check in a half dozen people while reminding them "Range is cold until 9am", but they are happy coming in early to setup.

Then there are the USPSA and Steel Challenge competitors that start showing up before 8am.

That's kinda funny. I've been a member at TRPC for 32 (RSO for 31) years and they've ALWAYS opened at 9:00... same as VCGHC... where I'm also an RSO.

Now, since this covid bullshit started TRPC has been closed except for weekends whereas VCGHC has kept their hours.
