The Kansas American Pioneer Corps chapter is doing a hike Sunday April 18th at 10 AM in Olathe, KS.

Location is the Ernie Miller Park, 909 North, KS-7, Olathe, KS 66061

The goal is a 6 mile hike in under 2 hours.  To count as a qualifying hike toward Pioneer Candidate 3rd class you need to do that speed while carrying a 45 pound pack.  If that's more than you're ready for you can do it without any weight or a lower weight as a workout and prep to eventually begin full weight hikes.
