They announced it earlier tonight, with a liquidation sale starting in the morning.

Shame to see an awesome local business go.

That'll leave Stewart's Photo (I think is the name) in Anchorage as the only photography store in state.

I rented a bunch of lenses from them and bought a few as well.

Sad to see them go :(

I went Wednesday afternoon and cameras were essentially gone. Picked up some lighting stuff, but that was about it. Plenty of gear bags and whatnot still. Granted I have no idea at this point.

It sounds like Tom will keep doing print service and rentals but doesn’t have details yet.
