Sorry to hear it. Try on off times. I ripped through 11 eform1's in about 2hrs, went well - certainly didnt expect it to go this way.

Should I be expecting a response from FATF requesting fingerprints? no during application, for responsible person, you, your info, where you upload the picture of yourself, there is a spot for EFT. if you dont have a EFT, you need to complete two fd-258 cards and mail them to WV atf office within 10 days along with the cover letter that they emailed you. and you also need to mail the CLEO copy to who you put in. the pages are clearly marked, pages 8-10 I think, of the submitted application document you got in your email, your cover letter is in the same email. |

once people get approved, are they supposed to apply for a state aw cert too, or can they SBR with ATF approval only?

There is language that says if you applied for the pistol brace rule you get a temporary thing from the state then when approved you apply for the permanent one. It's approved conditionally and it cites the ATF rule. I don't know what that means.

I submitted a form 1 for a SBR in January and haven't gotten my approval yet - maybe I'll see it before I have to send a copy to CT DPS 8/1...

No guidance yet.
The law is vague and cannot be understood without a damn lawyer. Won’t hold up in court due to vagueness doctrine. Waiting on guidance for further proceedings. |

I had to pay the $200 plus $65.00 for EFT for a short barreled shotgun, so after getting approved by ATF, that's what I have.
