AAR: Hike February 28, 2021

Arrived at rally point at 0703.

1 member attended hike. Step off was a bit late at approximately 0720. I went slick due to chafing and general body soreness suffered from a 10k run and gun the day prior.

Agreed on a 3 mile hike due to lack of witnesses to verify.

Single member who attended hauled a 45lb pack.

Trail was fairly slick with mud throughout the trail.

AAR Hike March 7, 2021:

2 members attended, plus me. Due to witness criteria not being satisfied, we agreed to a 3 mile hike with 45lb packs.

Weather was a bit chilly, but otherwise unremarkable.

Trail was passable with no obstacles.

Additional traffic on the trail was low.

AAR April 26, 2021

Step off at 0715 am after a brief and uneventful encounter with a crackhead. 45lb packs being carried by 4 members. Pushed for 2 miles before a short halt to remove warming layers. Total of about 3 miles on level ground. Made the call to push up a pretty solid hill up a wash, much to the dismay of everyone, including me.

Moved down an improved road with substantial elevation changes for a good while before moving back onto a narrow trail that took us back down onto level ground next to the river. Upon completion of the hike everyone was relieved to see that the crackhead had not breached any vehicles.

ETA: All members hydrated sufficiently that no fatalities were incurred.

All members met all requirements.
6 miles in under 2 hours.
At least 2 unrelated witnesses.
45lb packs.

Best AAR ever!  Thanks, Josh.  It was nice to meet MadCowRacer.  The weather was lovely.  I did end up going to help my friends put up wire panels after.  It was a full day.  :)
