Quoted: AB 293 is the bill that would make Wisconsin a 2 amendment Sanctuary State. It was passed in the assembly last week and is now in the state senate. Time to call your State Senators and put pressure on them to pass it. Make evers veto it and then use the veto against him next yr in his reelection. Senate Republicans (21) greatly outnumber Dems (12) and are only 1 vote short of a veto override, which is 2/3rds of the 33 member Senate. Passing it should be a done-deal. It'll be interesting to see if any Dems cross the party line and vote for it. If not, it can be used against all those Dems, not just Guv Nevers. |
