This won't get abused, at all, nope.  Wonder how many years it will take to get back the temporarily held guns.  God knows the next bill will require held guns to be destroyed after 120.5 days.

The next bill will require all guns to be stored at the local state police barracks. You can check them out for hunting.

This is where we are headed.

Blatantly unconstitutional and a direct violation of the 4th and 14th Amendments. There is more than enough court precedent to indicate that. But this NY legislature doesn't care.

There really should be some method of correction when elected politicians blatantly disregard the highest law of the land

If I have the correct bill, it appears it was shot down last week in committee. Then the sponsor, Westchester Democrat Amy Paulin, somehow managed to get it brought up again over the protestations of Democrat Committee Chair Jeffrey Dinowitz. It went down a second time in a vote. Apparently at that point, as the committee was leaving, Manhattan Democrat Daniel O'Donnell, who voted no, told Queens Democrat Catalina Cruz, who voted yes, to "Grow a pair, honey"

I assume at this point the bill is dead unless they find a way to get a third attempt
