Would I have to home-build one? Or did I miss something?

There are CT Mfr's doing custom builds.
That said, you can buy a virgin lower and attach a 12" pistol upper.

I was at Jo-Jo's recently. They had various caliber others on the wall.
If they don't have one I'm sure they would build one.
