It's supposed to be colder on Sunday, so I might go Sunday. I haven't gone shooting in weeks, so I might want to take advantage of the warmer weather tomorrow.

The Sinister and I made up 3 Mk8 kits, so I'll be there tomorrow wandering around. Will bring him Sunday morning and we'll go to lunch.
Borrowing his left-hand .22" LR upper for my demo "gun" on a dark green EP Armory 80% lower, w/ the multi-colored Mk8 prototype on it. |

I am in DFW for the weekend for my grandsons birthday. Is this show worth hassle?
I don't want to drive 40 minutes to wait in line for an hour to look at beanie babies. Thanks |

I might try the show again tomorrow. I thought that I was pretty much over my bug, but I pulled into the parking garage and I felt the rumble in my stomach and knew I had to head home...fast!

FW_wife just got back from grocery shopping and said it's slick out. The middle girl was headed to work & saw 5 wrecks in 2 miles. Will check road advisories before coming down.

Yeah, not much to be gained by hawking gun stock kits @ a show when there's nobody there, then spinning out on ice on the way home.
ETA: Looking @ https://drivetexas.org/#/13/32.7384/-97.3417?future=false&resources=traffic, most of the highways leading to the show are icy. Looks like I might could make it on surface streets, but probably not gonna chance it. |
