AB355 makes it a gross misdemeanor for anyone under 21 to possess or control a semiautomatic shotgun or rifle. The bill also updates existing laws and penalties against aiding or knowingly permitting a person to possess a semiautomatic weapon, raising the age to 21. Hunting laws are also updated to eliminate possession of a semiautomatic weapon for children 14 and older, allowing only weapons that are not fully automatic or semiautomatic. AB355 also requires that the rifle or shotgun must be unloaded and stored in a securely locked container when not in use. Opposed - done! It's 15 opposed to 4 agree right now. We can do better than this. C'mon!

Opposed. 80% oppose right now, 20% support. FIGHT. We wrote a dissertation against this violation of our rights.

It’s ‘feel good’ legislation to appeal her constituents. ‘I was at the October 1 massacure.’ GREAT. Steve bought his guns legally and was a lot older than the intended target of this bill.

Opposed
Text... "This bill is clearly unconstitutional vis a vis the recent NYSRPA V. Bruen Supreme Court decision and would only result in increased taxpayer expenses to unsuccessfully defend it in court when a lawsuit is inevitably filed to contest it. Legislatively restricting the constitutional rights of adults 18-21 years of age will not pass judicial review and is a pointless exercise in political grandstanding." AB354 is just as bad.

Despite 79% disapproval of this bill, it passed out of committee and now goes to the senate. Fuck those fucking communist turds. 79% said no!!!

update in OP, went how expected. Question is how much of a RINO is Lombardo. Afraid we know the answer to this too 😔

He’s going to sign every one of them. Governor Sisolak already showed us how much control Democrats have. Sadly Republicans today don’t stand up for anything when push comes to shove.

And America inches closer to collapse, one communist law passed at a time. Most of the US Constitution is no longer intact today. 1st Amendment? Done. 2nd? Done. 4th? Done. 5th? Alive and well? Others falling or have fallen as well. This is not doom and gloom, this is the reality across our country. The Supreme Court just declined to hear the Illinois Gun Ban. Agency making laws? Check. Any SCOTUS reviews of something that turns millions of Americans into felons? Nah. Not important.

I imagine most of you already are, but if not, I highly recommend sending a few dollars to Gun Owners of America and taking advantage of their email alerts.
They make it quick and easy to flood your state and national representatives with emails urging them to fight against gun control here in Nevada and nationally. They are doing great work on our behalf and have taken up the lead on 2nd Amendment issues now that the NRA has run itself into the ground. Gun Owners of America |

I aint doin nothing, but doing nothing means a lot to me.

I wish the Governor would pull a Sisolak and rewrite the background check law. Sadly, I’m confident he supports background checks because he thinks they stop crime.
