Kemp and the rest of the GA RINOs are pandering to the suburban female vote that they never get and meanwhile ignore the actual Georgians who vote republican.

Like every ga governor race….piece of shit leftist vs corrupt RINO piece of shit…either way you feel dirty for voting.

Kemp on the other hand has already stolen 2 senate seats and a Presidential election for the dems and there is no way he will ever get re-elected. If he wins the primary, Stacey is the next governor. If you want to keep Stacey out of Governor's seat, you better throw your weight behind Perdue in the primary. Perdue for Gov, Herschel for Senate. Former President Donald Trump’s political action committee has given $500,000 to a group that is running attack ads in Georgia against Republican Gov. Brian Kemp. The spending appears aimed at boosting former U.S. Sen. David Perdue, whom Trump has endorsed in the GOP gubernatorial primary, but the ad never mentions Perdue by name. Interestingly blunt read on Stacey Abrams from the Washington Examiner Opinion Poll - Stacey Abrams Is On Pace To Be Re-Elected As The Not Governor Of Georgia
Stacey Abrams, who became famous for denying the outcome of an election she lost by more than 50,000 votes in 2018, is now on pace to lose once again, according to a new poll. Abrams approached Election Day 2018 anticipating a loss, which is why she spread multiple false conspiracy theories in advance of election night about how her supporters in Georgia were being prevented from electing her governor. She continued to spread these same false conspiracy theories throughout the ensuing recount period, and liberal journalists continued parroting them even as the local media debunked many of them. Abrams finally lost the election to the current incumbent, Brian Kemp, but specifically refused to concede. In the time since, she has claimed at least a dozen times that she was the rightful winner, although she has claimed never to have done so. Instead of starting an election denialists' club with fellow conspiracy theorists Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Abrams took up an activist role that has made her very wealthy in the last four years. She called for a boycott of her own state in a USA Today op-ed (this was later deleted by sympathetic editors) and persuaded Major League Baseball to withdraw the All-Star Game from Atlanta, costing hundreds of black-owned small businesses a boost they had been praying for during COVID. Having attained national stature and fame as the not-governor of Georgia, Abrams is now running for reelection. Emerson College's latest poll shows her losing again to Kemp by a much wider margin this time — 44% to 51%. Against former Sen. David Perdue, who is challenging Kemp in the May 24 Republican primary, Abrams trails 44% to 49%. So, for now, it looks like Abrams is a safe incumbent, coasting to reelection as not-governor. View Quote NOTE: This not an endorsement of any political party or candidate. Neither is it a comment on the accuracy of the source material. |

So apparently Kemp has already won the primary and avoided a runoff with Perdue?

Quoted: Not really surprising, Perdue and his campaign people haven't done themselves any favors. View Quote Our choices are so sad on the R ticket for Governor. The lesser of evils ranked for the Gov seat. IMHO Perdue Stacey Kemp. Perdue will just be a generic R placeholder, will follow from behind on the MAGA movement. He will base his agenda off of what DeSantis is winning with in FL, but he will never be an out front, America First, GA First leader. Stacey is a known enemy, but will have less than zero power with both houses, the Lt Gov, Sec State and AG being Republicans. All she can do is veto popular bills , cry racism and have lower approval ratings than Biden. This could break the good ol boy cycle and we get a DeSantis style Gov the next go round. It also frees the GBI (not friends of Stacey) to investigate election fraud. I think if Stacey wins the election she won't finish her term due to criminal investigations. I think her financial dealings will come back to bite her. . Kemp. A traitor is worse than an enemy in my opinion. We will fight an enemy, but Kemp will be able to continue to cover up the election fraud which could make it permanent. The GBI (friends of Kemp) and the R's in the state houses won't bring down the investigations on one of their own. |

Kind of loosely related to the gubernatorial race. It's just a question; a prediction; and something to keep an eye out for.
Based upon the recently leaked draft opinion by the US Supremes, Roe vs. Wade looks likely to be overturned. Some of the states have trigger laws that immediately ban abortion without further legislative action as soon as and contingent upon Roe being overturned. Georgia is not one of the trigger states. Georgia currently bans abortions after six weeks, but that law is currently unenforceable due to court intervention, the opinion being based upon the holding in Roe. So if Roe is actually overturned, Georgia's current 6 week ban law may become enforceable. However, as you know, this is an election year. Conservatives will clamor for Georgia to be an abortion ban state. So here's the question: If the Supremes overturn Roe, will Governor Kemp call the legislature into special session quickly to pass an abortion ban bill to send to his desk? My prediction is that he will do so. First, to get another feather in his cap before the November election. And secondly, because he will have support of Republicans in the legislature (especially those running for reelection - see reason one), and because they will look bad in the future if they squander the opportunity. If they don't pass it and Stacey Abrams is elected governor with veto power to stop it from becoming law - it definitely won't become the law in Georgia. I know its a little wordy, but something to keep an eye on. As usual, nothing in this post is an endorsement of any candidate or political party. |

Saw today that Abrams is pledging to repeal constitutional carry upon winning the governor's seat. I don't know if that's possible or not but if she wins you can bet your butt you're going to start losing every single thing that she does have the power to change. She'll make life in GA as miserable as possible for non-liberals and take away everything she can manage. Be careful of what you wish for, you might end up getting it.

Also the border question, wrt should it be enforced? Oh and let’s not forget should biological boys competing in girls sports. The fact these questions are put on the ballot or should be in the first place is depressing. Really looking forward to when I can punch out but where to go is the question. |

This endorsement war is a terrible idea. As far as I'm concerned it's wasted effort anyways. Endorsements have little effect on my decision.

At my polling location this morning, only 1 of 5 machines working. They said a technician had been called. The three voters in front of me looked enough like Stacy Abrams to have been her sisters. All three chose republican ballots. It took about 30 minutes to vote. I saw one lady leave after saying she would come back later when the machines were fixed. They were offering paper ballots as an alternative to using the machines.

The Georgia Governors race has become a referendum on the national Republican establishment (swamp) who are all in for Kemp. How many are actually voting for Kemp and instead voting against Trump? National news is pointing out the surge of Democrats voting in the Republican primary. Pretty sad that Kemp may win based on all the Democrats voting for him.

Breitbart-Hollywood Elites and George Soros Funding Stacey Abrams’ Latest Bid to Unseat Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp
Hollywood elites including Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg, and Tom Hanks are helping to bankroll Stacey Abrams’ latest bid to unseat Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R). Her efforts have also received sizable donations from an organization affiliated with George Soros. Other Hollywood celebrities who have donated to Stacey Abrams’ One Georgia Inc., PAC include Barbra Streisand, Bryan Cranston, Ed Helms, and Lance Bass. The donations were disclosed in a recent public filing for One Georgia, which reported more than $12 million in fundraising for the two-month period ending June 30. Overall, Abrams reportedly outpaced Kemp in terms of fundraising for the period, bringing in more than three times his amount thanks to big-ticket liberal donors from out of state. View Quote |
