I need to apologize to everyone for starting this thread paste this year.
With NFL kneeling & cheerleaders with d*cks just kind of threw me off. Sorry again But it is that time of year again... To open some beers, and start cooking some boudin for the tailgate That is right it is football season!!! And with LSU first game this weekend I thought I would start a thread about beloved football teams here in Louisiana Football has a rich long standing tradition in our state So lets talk about some football that is played here the bayou state. Friendly trash or full on bleeding purple and gold support everything is welcome Highschool football is also welcome for discussion or just general bragging about. Pictures of games you go to, food you cooking, TV set-ups for the game tailgateing all photos are welcome This is also a special year for the Saints as they celebrate 50 years as a franchises. Here is hopefully to another great, safe and winning football season to LOUISIANA!!!!

I can not say I feel great about LSU this year.
While I still like Coach O And I know he loves the tigers. But With the SEC the way it is. I do not know if he will be able to go better than 6 & 6 7 & 5 Or 8 & 4 And get us a mid-tear bowl And how long LSU, will put up with average seasons. And not being in the play offs. Saints on the other hand, I will be looking for them to be playing in January. And LaTech should be pretty good this year again. |

I thought I was watching the end of Coach O at LSU last night. Especially when they burned through all of their timeouts in the first quarter
 . Surprised as hell that they whooped Miami! The run game looked good, but I really wanted to see Burrow put some air under the ball.

Going through those timeouts in the first quarter fucked me up. I figured LSU was about to implode. But I was pleasantly surprised with the result.
There’s obviously lots to work on, but the basics seem to be there. Lots of other teams get to make adjustments during a cupcake game in the season opener, but LSU was challenged big time to open it up and survived.

LSU was a little better than expected and Miami was a little worse than expected. Good game overall though.
Just hope Chaisson isn’t out for the season. |

Nice. Love some chargrilled oysters.
So that game was a little interesting huh. LA Tech. I think LSU just got complacent after scoring 24, then had to pick it back up towards the end of 4th. Really wish those asshats in Gainesville would pick a time for 10/06 game. Trying to plan a tailgate party around it. |

Joe Burrow with SEC Offensive player of the week two times this season. I’m pleasantly surprised to say the least.
Ole Miss played dirty, but the Tigers kicked some ass. Let’s hope they keep the momentum and do well against Florida as well. |

LaTech ULM Both have homecoming today. And LSU has that big night game at home Saw on Sports Center this morning, both ULM & LSU are wearing special uniforms today. ( I am sitting here at work) . |

LSU has managed 9-2 with a solid chance at 10-2. I hope the Tigers can stay motivated and keep the streak against A&M alive.
Overall, seems to be a much better season than everyone expected. I still think that Offensive Coordinator changes are needed, but overall it’s hard to argue with the results after what has to be a top 5 hardest strength of schedule. Geaux Tigers |

So, I have not posted in this thread, since getting upset a few weeks ago by the LSU stollen game.
And Warren Easton, beating NorthWood, both on the same sucky football weekend. But this weekend starts a new turn. With this Saturday being Bowl season . And bowl season starts out this year. With ULL, Rabin Cajuns Vs Tulane, the Green Wave In Cure Bowl In Orlando, FL. . |

Tulane won the first game of Bowl Season.
Tonight we have another Louisian team feature in a bowl game. With Louisiana Tech, Bulldogs. Traveling to Hawaii for the Honolulu Bowl. This is a "home" game for Hawaii. But LaTECH, have done great on the road this season. I will be watching the game tonight, and hoping LaTech victory. . |
