Well, I have egg on my face. djsmiles pointed out there's a Lone Star show @ Will Rogers in Fort Worth this weekend. My apologies for not posting it earlier. Waiting to hear back from the usual krewe - RebleYell has a table @ the FW show.

If anyone at the Lone Star show sees some dude in a Browncoats shirt gawking at what would be normal stuff around here, it's me. I'm not use to fancy things like collapsible stocks, or brand new 30 round mags.

Canton was fun. Didnt do as much as I normally do, but still did a few good trades and acquired few parts. Wound up getting rid of a detonics and a kimber officers size 1911. Now have a hi power to play with. Should be getting rid of my aug tomorrow as well, but that deal has been in the works for a while. Lots of people looking at my spas 12 that have only seen them in movies or games. Running on so little sleep was not fun, but did ok. Getting some sleep tonight, so hopefully will not be close to dozing off much of sunday.

I did notice that not much high priced ammo was changing hands at Canton. Maybe there are more people around rural East Texas that already stockpile when cheap, but i hope it means that the ammo madness may be ending soon!

I splurged and spent $10.00 on a new puck for some axe and tomahawk sharpening. @naes Bonus was a trip to Buc-ee’s across the highway for some kolaches and sausage rolls for tomorrow's breakfast. |

Sorry I missed both of you. The DACA show @ Southfork was a medium show, but nearly as many dealers as punters. I'm afraid if DACA doesn't do more advertising they'll die a lingering death. They made the right move selling the Market Hall show to Premier, but they still need to get their act together.
Folks, I'm seeing some shows listed here & there that I may miss, so if you don't see a show listed, pipe up & I'll put it in the OP. |

Few ammo scalpers still doing brisk business, but not near as much as the last show here when I set up. Traded into a 20ga 870 for the possible gf, but she weighs about 85-90, not sure how she will handle it. Butcher shop always has good food, and better desserts at least.. |

Big Town was a packed mad house. Toward the end of today, Model 1 had less than half of their already assembled uppers left as an indication... Many attendees doing the Mexican carry of their newly acquired purchases .....
Ammo still there as not everyone convinced they needed to pay 80 cents per round or more, and sellers thinking ammo is certain to become more scarce .... |
