Make sure you post up how the show is, I'm considering going Sunday, depending on how much luck I have in Canton tomorrow.

You have lowers in stock @ work?

Well, I have egg on my face.  djsmiles pointed out there's a Lone Star show @ Will Rogers in Fort Worth this weekend.  My apologies for not posting it earlier.  Waiting to hear back from the usual krewe - RebleYell has a table @ the FW show.

OK, show was very small, heavily overpriced AR's, a little ammo, I did find a few things, nice Boyt USMC marked carbine/pistol mag pouch, early contract for $25 ($75 pouch all day long), and some WWII and Vietnam Star Clusters sealed in their shipping tubes...my son got a repro stick grenade, an angled foregrip and reflex sight for his airsoft PDW build, and a nice Taiwanese Tanto...

So it wasn't a wasted drive, but it was small...almost thought about running out to Canton, but decided not to, post up how Canton was...

We do have lowers in stock now, Spikes Tactical, and BCM I think...just started carrying lowers a little while ago...

Canton was fun.  Didnt do as much as I normally do, but still did a few good trades and acquired few parts.  Wound up getting rid of a detonics and a kimber officers size 1911.  Now have a hi power to play with.  Should be getting rid of my aug tomorrow as well, but that deal has been in the works for a while.  Lots of people looking at my spas 12 that have only seen them in movies or games.  Running on so little sleep was not fun, but did ok.  Getting some sleep tonight, so hopefully will not be close to dozing off much of sunday.

Yeah, my mistake.  Lone Star didn't post in the usual place and I didn't check their website.  It cost 'em - much smaller show than usual w/ empty tables.  Heard there's been a change in management.

I did notice that not much high priced ammo was changing hands at Canton.  Maybe there are more people around rural East Texas that already stockpile when cheap, but i hope it means that the ammo madness may be ending soon!

I would take the southern exit to TMS off 35.  The show is in the garages inside the speedway, so you have to drive through a very narrow tunnel under the racetrack.  RVs fit, so looks narrower than it is.

Worth the trip for me. Fifteen minute drive from home, free parking, and a new venue. Yeah it was relatively small and thus crowded, but not bad at all.  No surprises with $700 Glocks and high priced ammo, but I expected that going in. I splurged and spent $10.00 on a new puck for some axe and tomahawk sharpening.

@naes  Bonus was a trip to Buc-ee’s across the highway for some kolaches and sausage rolls for tomorrow's breakfast.

Yeah I’m almost walking distance from there.

Show was decent for the size.  Free parking and only $8 at the door.

Found a few things that were tempting but left empty handed.

I had an lol at the $48 monarch 308 that the local academy has for $14.

Sorry I missed both of you.  The DACA show @ Southfork was a medium show, but nearly as many dealers as punters.  I'm afraid if DACA doesn't do more advertising they'll die a lingering death.  They made the right move selling the Market Hall show to Premier, but they still need to get their act together.

Folks, I'm seeing some shows listed here & there that I may miss, so if you don't see a show listed, pipe up & I'll put it in the OP.

In the interest of full disclosure, the restaurant The Butcher Shop is owned by my sister in law (brother's wife)  They do have a great bakery that offers such temptation on the left as you walk in to place an order for regular food...... i usually feel my blood sugar climbing just walking in!

Not sure what i'll carry up to the show to get rid of just yet, have lots of trading material to get rid of.

It is crazy crowded at longview this morning....

Few ammo scalpers still doing brisk business, but not near as much as the last show here when I set up.  Traded into a 20ga 870 for the possible gf, but she weighs about 85-90, not sure how she will handle it.  Butcher shop always has good food, and better desserts at least..

Itasca is a decent small show.  Several of the regular D/FW dealers were there.  Complete lowers were as low as $200.  Plenty of ammo dealers, but also window salesmen, etc.  Right off I-35.

Big Town was a packed mad house. Toward the end of today, Model 1 had less than half of their already assembled uppers left as an indication... Many attendees doing the Mexican carry of their newly acquired purchases .....

Ammo still there as not everyone convinced they needed to pay 80 cents per round or more, and sellers thinking ammo is certain to become more scarce ....

If you're building an AR pistol, any new AR lower will do, as long as you can remove the stock.  KE Arms KP-15 shouldn't be your 1st choice for an AR pistol.

Neither RebleYell nor I can make Dallas - do you guys want to get together for breakfast, lunch, or dinner?  Sat or Sun?  Or is the ARFKREWE headed to Winnsboro this weekend?

I could recommend a nice French place on Greenville, but the wine list is extensive.
