Curious what kind of luck fellow New Yorkers have had running 10rd Gen 5 g19 and 17 magazines in their Gen 5 19/17/45/34 guns. Reliable or issues?

Bought my Glock 19 back in 2001 or 2002, been buying (latest two months ago) and using mags since. No issues.

I have been using Glock factory 10 rounders and Magpul GL9 10 round mags in my 5th gen Glock 17 without issue for the last year.

I've used the Glock ones since the AWB they never had issues.  I bought the Magpul 10 rounders to try a year or two ago, they've been fine too.  Now using gen5 in gen 5 and no issues, any issues were ironed out ages ago.

OEM Glock mags have been flawless in my G19.5 thus far.

Got a email from NatchezSS, Glock mags on sale, standard cap and 10 rd factory mags, magpul also. Main website also showed the sale. They appeared to be out of gen 5.

Thank guys. Great news. Saving up to get back into Glocks. I’ve owned many 19, a 48 and a 30 and 37.
Thinking either 45,17, 19 (maybe boring since I wanna try something else) or a 48

My mistake, I failed to see the Gen 5... My answer below is for Gen3/4.
Apologies.

10 Round Glock factory magazines are known to be the strongest made due to the internal ribs (lengthwise) that limit the capacity.

I have never had an issue with mine, though they do seem to be a bit tougher removing the baseplate.

I've never had to remove base plates for maintenance, only to use the Glock orange baseplates to denote specific load.

Never had or even heard of any issues with factory 10 round mags. Aftermarket is a crap shoot, some good, some bad. But factory is always good to go.
