I was down at the Sumter PD's HQ this morning and noticed that their Internet Sales area in the parking lot had a sign saying "No gun or ammo exchanges allowed".

WTF? If I were to do a private sale of such the police department's Internet Sales area would be the one place I'd want to conduct such a transaction.

I don't sell arms to random people.  Even though it is legal, I suggest you don't either.  Firearm sales should only happen privately, not in a parking lot.

I have done a F2F sale in the last month.

Yes, SC doesn't require a 4473 for private sales but that doesn't mean you should not be careful and use prudence.

Would they mind if I drop a Amber Heard on a pillow in their transaction lot?

Yeah, I think they might have an issue with that.
