I didn't vote for the guy but even if I was going to, the sheer amount of spam and people he has sent to my door would have had me pick anyone but him. I understand campaigning but holy shit he took it way over the top.

Most of the political signs I see for him are generally next to a Biden/Harris sign which tells me all I need to know.

I guess we can add that to the list. Gross say's he won't take any money from PAC's or outside "Dark Money", but obviously he is.

I remember when his dad was the attorney general in the Hammond administration. He was investigated for doing blow and hanging out with the hookers on S. Franklin St.The good old days.

A friend of mine said a coworker ended up seated next to Al Gross on a flight from Juneau. We both agreed that if were us we wouldn't be able to be quiet. I would flat out tell him, "Look, I've given you at least an hour of my life because of all your stupid ads. Now you're going to give me an hour of yours." I would then proceed to talk non stop about abortion and gun rights.

Now that it is over I will tell a small story.
When the Scandies sank Sullivan was the only person at the federal level of the government to reach out to the family and genuinely get involved and make sure we are going to be ok. I'm not talking just a random hey that sucks sorry to hear about that. He tracked down as many of us as he could personally, he gave out his personal phone numbers and he ment it when he said call and talk if you ever just need some one to talk to. I kept seeing all of this shit Gross and his people put out slamming him at every chance and all I could ever think about was this guy that supposedly doesn't care about Alaskans at all taking the time to make sure a bunch of nobodys are holding up ok with a tragedy. There is political lip service that can be played for sympathetic votes, and than there is genuine human kindness. I let you figure out what it was for your self. |
