Last week, during initial legislative sessions, SB1657, Gun Dealer Licensing was placed on the Calendar Order of 3rd Reading - Standard Debate for the House.   Remember, this has already passed the Senate.   No committee hearings now, no witness slips.   It can be called for debate and vote at any time when the sponsors think they have the votes.

Today is the First day the House is back in session and they have already sent SB-1657, the gun dealer licensing bill back to the floor on 3rd reading for consideration and a final vote..

It's already passed the Senate.  Bill doesn't go away until end of 2 year (2017-2018)  legislative session or voted on in House and signed/vetoed/overridden.

Bumping this bill as it may be coming up again this week for debate and vote as the anti 2A crowd looks to take advantage of a distraction from other Springfield activities as well as what is going on nationally.
