I have a homemade steel target that I plan to bring. It is made from Brushhog blades.

If I can fit it in my car, I'll bring it. the guy that made them, wanted me to show it off, and take orders for more.

It will stop a 5.56 COLD from 25 yards. Barely dimples the blades.

Now RedGoat on the other hand...I'm going to stand far behind the building before you shoot that steel with 5.56 at 25 yds....Ouch.

Now I wonder what .50 BMG would do to it...wanna find out?

How about .30 AP rounds loaded in .300 WM (150gr AP pushing 3400 FPS)?

It can stop an AP .308. A small hole, but the round did not go through.

Ask TxLewis what he had loaded.

He loaded .308 I'm sure, so I've got a 7-800 fps edge....If .308 was a hole, this might be enough to push through.

Guess I'm the slow one here.

I read this whole thread and it is still not clear to me what hours everyone will be there.

Is it an all day thing? I get out of church about 12:00 will take me about an hour to get there.
What will I miss if I get there around 1:00 or 1:30????

Around 1:00 to 1:30 some of us will be leaving to go to LT's farewell dinner.
There will still be people there shooting so come on up and have a good time.
