Yep, the days of cheap surplus ammo seems to be dwindling. As Totalabuse and Bluesuiter stated Wolf 7,62 x 39mm was $129.00 a case and the 5.45 x39 was $149.00 if you could find any left after Totalabuse bought his case!!! Not much in .308 for any bargain prices.

I did score 1000 rounds of brass cased boxer primed TZZ94 and WCC87 Isreali .223 and a 500 round can of the same in .308. The .223 was $149.99 , $30.00 more than a case of Wolf and the  .308 was $79.00. The best buy at the show was by far the many surplus Mosin variants for as low as $70.00 in great shape.

Not much in the NJ legal semi-auto rifle catagory anymore. All in all still a good show but prices seem to be on the raise.

Edit to add I did see one of the new S&W M&P AR's. It was priced at $1029.00. Liked pretty nice however it was in non-NJ configuration.

I saw some Norinco .223 for $2.99 a box.  That and the two Liberator pistols was the highlight of my day.

I saw XM193 for $128 per 500 rds. at the big Federal dealer that's up toward the front.

Thankfully I visited the folks that I usually buy from in the back and they had it for $109 per 500.

Wolf 7.62 was about $130 per 1,000, I wasn't looking for 5.45,but I'm glad to hear that there was some there, albeit expensive.

Most Gun prices were as usual, ridiculous. I saw a stock Bushy M4 on one table for $1200

As Lugerman stated, I saw the S&W AR for 1,049.00. Looked pretty good to me.

All in all, I'm, happy with what I picked up.

How much were the Liberators selling for?  And by whom if you recall?

The dealer was:

Charles Kaplan
The Yankee Armorer, Inc.
125 E Slope Rd
Mahwah, NJ 07430
201-529-2111

He had 2 liberators, numerous high end German, US and other WWII pistols and revolvers, even a Johnson LMG converted to semi auto.  His prices matched the quality of his stuff.
