Found this set of N frame grips at the local pawn shop. Anyone know if these are factory or if they're just cheap knockoffs?

Look like what I have seen for sale in multiple gun shops in the late '70s / early 80s.
I vote legit S&W Presentation grips. |

Those are real S&W grips. they usually sell for $125 these days.

About time I scored a deal.
 Gave $40 for them. Appreciate the info. I think I have a suitable host for these. I'll post another pic after I get them installed. Thanks again!

yes, that's a real S&W grip , i got that same grip on my 29-2 in a walnut presention box.

Maybe to show a police department badge? S&W was know to do guns for agencies to commemorate something like 100 years or such. Just spitballing here. Those are nice grips for a really good price. Plus they shine on that short barreled Model 27.
