Looking at a new Gucci style Glock, and I'm interested in the new Oz9 elite and how it compares to the older zev Dragonfly guns? Has anyone shot their new style and how does it compare to the older modified Glock frame guns?

Compared to a stock Glock, the OZ9 gives you get higher quality internals, a lightweight chromed striker, a chromed safety plunger, a trigger with no takeup and a crisp wall, a heavier steel chassis paired with lighter slide for better balance and recoil mitigation, a modular grip with numerous ergonomic improvements and a 1911 grip angle, a deep optic cut to Trijicon's exact max depth spec, longer rails with debris cuts, an excellent barrel with tight lockup and great accuracy, and tighter tolerances on nearly every part. You can get the V1 Duty models for under $1000 new if you shop around.
You can heavily modify a Glock frame and pair it with a complete Zev slide, but due to larger tolerances and an elastic polymer frame that weighs half of the OZ9 lower, you don't get the same balance, return to zero, and trigger feel you do with an OZ9.
Note: if you go with a V1 OZ9 and want to be able to swap between compact and standard length slides, make sure to get a model with the compact receiver (labelled at compact or X-grip). The compact receiver can accept all compact slides as well as 17 and 34 length conversion slides with Gen 5 barrels. The OZ9 V2 lineup uses compact receivers exclusively.
