Picked up a Xds 9mm 3.3” barrel version about a month ago. I’ve got about 100 rounds through it so far and really like it. I know a lot of people seem to not care for the XD pistols but I am one of those people that like the XD line of pistols. Any other fans out there?

They sell a ton of them, lots of fans. I have the .45 and love shooting it. I just wish it could magically hold more rounds without getting bigger. PRP trigger really makes it shine, I shoot it quite well at the range for a "pocket pistol".

I have an older xd45 and love it. I have shot thousands of rounds without a single problem, even when I was trying to create one. Not quite to a torture test level, but I beat that gun up and it seems to enjoy it.

I really don't know why they are not as popular as other models, as the XD is a great gun and has a great grip. The XDS is a fantastic little gun for the price.

I've been carrying one since they came out. Couple thousand rounds through it without issue.

I can't think of a reason to change.

I rotate carry between an xds9 and shield. I shoot the shield a little better, but feel the xds9 is a better made gun.

Here's a tip....

A factory stock XD 9mm ambi mag release....becomes a ambi EXTENDED mag releade in a 9mm XDs frame.

I replaced a XD 9mm Tactical factory mag release with a powder river extended mag release.

Turns out it's the slightly longer than the factory XDs 9mm mag release....but the exact same diameter and notch position.

Worked great and basically free !!

I have 6 Xd/Xdm/Xds pistols at this time they all fit and shoot great for me.

I just picked up the same pistol a few weeks ago. First range trip it did 500 rounds malfunction free.

I like it a lot.

I have many XD/XDM/XDS variants, and they are all superb.

I got an XDS 45 and XDS 9 when they came out, and still have both.

While both are excellent, the XDS9 is retarded accurate. There should be no way a gun that small is so accurate, but it do.

I have an XDs, XDm 3.8 Compact, and an XDm 5.25, all 9mm, all bi-tone. I love them. I have about 1k rounds through my XDs, zero stoppages. Over 4k rounds through my XDm 3.8, zero stoppages. My 5.25 is another story. No issues that I can blame on it, but I've had a lot of stoppages trying to find the best mouse fart load to beat my friend shooting steel.

3" subcompact as a EDC, 16 round mag. Also have the full size XD in .45.
Too bad they screwed the political pooch.

I've carried a 3.3" XDS .45 everyday for the past few years, it's been an awesome gun and zero malfunctions.

I've got an XD Mod 2 SC in .45 on order as well, should be here in a couple days.

Just bought one for myself and the wife tonight. Haven't shot them yet, still have to buy 9mm ammo.

this is our first 9mm for both of us. My wife usually shoots .380 and I'm a 40S&W guy myself. Hope we end up liking them. Got them for 349.00 a piece

I'm thinking of getting a 9mm XDs. I had a 45acp a few years ago. I liked it but didn't love it. Bit too much recoil for me. I have hand/nerve issues so it makes me a recoil wuss.

but it was all me not the gun.

Will a TLR1 fit on the rail?

I don't know that I'd consider myself a fan, as I see them simply as tools but the XD Mod2 series do fit me very well and they are as reliable as they come.

I have been carrying the same gun in 9mm for over 3 years now. From a carrying perspective, I am very happy with it. I would like to have something with more capacity, but that would mean a larger footprint that is more obtrusive to carry.
