Assuming both are 'G' models.

I have a complete M9A3. Someone has a M9A4 slide but isn't close enough for me to try it.

Would I be able to just put the A4 slide on the A3 and go? Or is something different?

Both would swap just fine. Zero issues. G model or not would not matter.

Does anyone know if the slide from a m9a4 will fit and operate properly on a 92fs?

It should have no issues as well.  I had the M9A3 slide on my 92FS
