I’m looking to get a TS2 40 and a Shadow 2 milled for a SRO optic. Hopefully direct milled so no plate is needed. If that’s possible. Who do you experts recommend for the best work?

Cajun Gun Works
Primary Machine
CZ Custom

Any others???let me know. Thanks

CZ Custom would be my first go-to.

Primary machine and impact seem to be all the rage and one or the other will probably do my p01 for a rmr.  Czc and Cajun have a great reputation but I believe about the longest wait.

Primary Machine did mine.

I went with them because I wanted additional slide cuts done that they offered. Mounted super low with a quick turnaround time.

Honestly haven’t heard of one bad thing about any of the options mentioned. Thats great for the community to have multiple options and you can’t go wrong with any of them IMO.

My Shadow 2 was milled by CZC with their plate system.  I like the idea of being able to swap to another brand optic if something breaks.  I also have a rear sight plate if I want to go back to irons.

If a direct mill I would choose Cajun, Primary Machine or CZC in no particular order.

I dig the direct mount, but those screws look like booty. Maybe it’s just a bad angle.

No offense. Beautiful gun, regardless.

I'm the owner of Fire 4 Effect Weapon Systems, we just closed our shop this last December.  If you're looking to direct mill an S2 for a large footprint RDS like the RMR/SRO, I can't encourage you enough to use Impact Machine.  He is the originator of Cajun's cuts, he has since gone out on his own.  He also has purchased the rights to our RDOMS system which boasts the lowest and most robust direct mill solution for the job described above.  Our system gets as low as possible, with NO exposed screw threads on the sides and no gimmick 'special screws' that simply hide the exposed threads on the side.  No adapter plate to work loose, or strip out.  You want a SOLID, LOW mounting solution with minimum weight... go RDOMS.  Scott now has absolutely the two best options for this coming out of his shop.  Go check them out.

Primary Machine will still be my go to. 4 CZ slides for optic direct mounting and their ceracote is flawless. They mill and ship within a week of recieving. Just got shipping notice for my SP01 Shadow slide for a K optic and they had it just over a week. Probably longer for lightening milling. I sent it fully disassembled.
