Anyone else still carrying their Shields, Kahrs (CM,PM, CW, K, and MK 9mms), Ruger (EC9s and LC9s Pro), Springfield (XDS and XDe), Glock (43, 43x, 48), Walther (PPS and PPS M2), Kel Tec PF9, Beretta (Nano and APX Carry), Sig P239, etc..
I'm still happy and content with my PPS M2, M&P Shield, Karhr K9, and Sig P239. I carry my K9 and Walther PPS M2 often. I have no plans to change to the lastest and greatest. No plans on ditching a perfectly functional and capable pistol with their holsters holsters, $100+ aftermarket sights, several magazines, and other upgrades as well. Anyone this EDCing any of the aforementioned? |

I carry a Kahr MK9 whenever the P30sk is too big to conceal. Great little pistol.

G43x for me, but with the Shield Arms 15 round mags. Does that still count?

Sometimes...
G43x with shield mag, that probably doesn’t count. J frame 642 - 5 shot. 1911 Wilson mags 8+1 Umm, so maybe not so much, |
[#9]
PPS more times than other stuff. Winter attire usually get a g17 though. Shorts and tee sometimes gets a J frame

[#10]
Shield or a 1911; usually a LCP when mt. biking, running or walking.

I’m at a new job. Option was for a Sig P239 or P229 in .357.
People picking the single stack P239... Here I am buying aftermarket extended double stack 229 mags. |
[#13]
43x off duty with OEM mags.
I’ve got two 43s in the safe and have carried them for deep conceal but that’s about it. |
[#15]
I love single stacks for conceal carry. 1911's mostly. But I also have a S&W 3913 and HK P7 and Shield 45.
[#16]
Mostly carry a 9mm Shield. It is setup just the way I like it and I can draw and put shots on target very well with it.
But right now I am carrying a 1911 TRP with two spare mags, OWB. |
[#19]
I keep going back to my Kahr CW9, even though I have "better" guns.
[#20]
I carry a G19 90+% of the time.
I carry a 48 when I have to wear a suit and need something slimmer than the 19. A 43 serves as my BUG and my daily carry gun on my morning runs. |
[#21]
G48 with shield mags most days. G43 when I gotta go deeper with concealment usually, though sometimes a J frame in the pocket (though not often). G19 with a tlr7 when I'm going somewhere "less savory".

[#23]
I'm good with my P365 and P365 XL. Also have a G43X, G48 (new and unfired). I'd feel safe with any of those options. Occasionally I'll carry something bigger if I feel that I need it.
[#27]
I have an irrational desire to buy and carry a Colt New Agent. For now it's the LCP and the regret of selling the PM9.
[#28]
Still alternate between a shield 9 and xds 9 for daily carry. Been meaning to pick up a P365 but have my money set on other things at the moment.
If I feel the need for more rounds I'll carry my g19. |

Years ago I was in law enforcement and my duty weapon was a 1911. The next town over just switched to Glock 17’s as their service pistol. After backing up one of their officers we talked a bit afterwards. He was bragging how he had 18 rounds in his Glock with another 34 rounds on his belt. My response, “You must miss a lot!”

[#31]
I rotate between a G43X in colder weather, G43 in warmer weather, and a Kel-Tec P32 when I want a pocket gun or when I'm on my bicycle. I hate double stacks for carry.
[#32]
If I’m dressed, there is an 380 ASTRA CONSTABLE in my pocket.
If I’m wearing a coat, there is a BHP 9mm under it |
[#33]
I rotate between a Shield 40, a Glock 43X, and a Glock 42... 43X is typically loaded with a Shield Arms magazine... But my spare is always a factory 10 rounder.
So... Kinda. |
[#36]
1911's.
I carry my Glocks 99% of the time, and have for almost 8yrs now, but the 1911 is made for my hands and they always work for me. Only reason I'm not carrying one now is capacity and the fact that 9mm double stack 1911 (2011) based pistols are more expensive than I'm willing to spend currently. |
[#37]
Shield 9MM or LCP, in Florida always in shorts and t-shirt, not many options. Been wanting a G43X but their hard to find.
[#40]
I carry a M&P9 Shield on most of my days off (a M&P9 Compact is my off-duty carry on work days, to and from work, to complement my M&P9 Full-Size duty gun). The longest I've carried it at a time was driving to TN from WI and back and I never felt "undergunned" or at any disadvantage . As much as I love that little pistol, it will probably get replaced by a Glock 43X or Glock 48 when I transition from M&Ps to Glocks this year.
As I generally don't go stupid places, at stupid times, and do stupid things, with stupid people...I feel the Shield (or any similar single stack) is fine. |
[#44]
I've been exclusively carrying my Colt defender and one spare magazine. I'm in the process of switching to my P320 with an RDS and two spare 15 round magazines.
[#46]
Generally I carry an XDS-45 or a Kahr MK9. I've got a PM9 that I'm almost ready to carry, but haven't yet. Once I start carrying the PM9, I'll probably get rid of the MK9.
[#47]
Over the last number of years I went from a XDs45, to a Shield, to a 43x. Then, I realized the benefits of a RDS. So, I went back to a G19 MOS SRO. Lately I’ve swapped out the SRO for a Holosun 507c-ACSS Vulcan.
[#48]
I carry a DB9 in an ankle holster most of the time. It is usually a backup for my HKP2K on my hip but the ankle gun is easy to reach while friving.
[#49]
My Shield has sat in the safe for 2-3 years, I've gotten used to carrying larger guns and prefer them now.
[#50]
I switched from my 9mm Shield to a Springfield Armory Smellcat, happy so far.
