Specifically, what do they mean by "hybrid" LCP grip in the first ad?

There is this:

Hogue Ruger LCP Handall Grip Sleeve-Rubber Pistol Grip Sleeve-Black-18100

And then this:

Hogue Handall Hybrid Ruger LCP Grip Sleeve

Are there different Hogue grips for Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ruger LCP's?

Do most of you like the Hogue grips?

If you look at that "hybrid" version on Amazon, it says it's model number 18100.  On Ruger's website, model 18100 is listed under the "LCP .380" section, here:

https://www.hogueinc.com/handgun-grips/ruger/lcp

There is another section called "LCP-II" which contains the "non-hybrid" models:

https://www.hogueinc.com/handgun-grips/ruger/lcp2

So I assume "hybrid" fits LCP-I guns and "non-hybrid" is for LCP-II.   I don't own an LCP so can't comment in that respect,  but I do have these Grip Sleeves on other guns and they're great.

ETA: I think you got your links crossed up in your post.  The 18100 is the "hybrid".

I have the second one linked in the above post.  it works great.  Makes the grip a little wider and dampens recoil

@wheel

Looking at my two links, the "18100" is listed for BOTH of my links.  For the first one, it's in the title of the ad, and for the second link I posted it appears in the description at the link at the bottom.

It may be that these two grips are the same and that the work "hybrid" is not to differentiate from, say, Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ruger LCP pistols.  So "hybrid" may actually be the designation for the Ruger LCP.

Thank you for the info.
