Looking to see what ARFCOM's favorite handgun suppressor host would be? Thinking of a range toy that can take a can, so not subjective to caliber or anything like that.

Right now my carry weapon is an M&P, but for a range toy I do not mind mixing brands, manual of arms, or any conditions that would normally associate with grabbing another weapon. Hell, depending on what it is, it may take place of EDC or at least fall into rotation.

I have a Sig P227 tactical for my suppressor host and it is amazing. It comes with the suppressor sights, undercut trigger guard and 11 round capacity...just perfect.

P226, extremely reliable suppressed (unlike my glocks), extremely quiet, no blowback, and accurate.

I have a lot of cans, and a lot of hosts. But I suppose if I had to pick just one, it would probably be my HK Expert.

1911. the hammer delays opening from everything I've read and allows about the quietest (reasonably priced) option. Plus cheap ass 45 is subsonic and 1911+can=awesome

Agreed. I’ve suppressed a Glock 19 and 17, but the 226 was flawless with a can.
