Have a TRP Full-Rail Operator I am considering having some slide work done, and having it cerakoted. Current finish I believe is the black army kote? It was made prior to the switch to Cerakote (late 2018 / early 2019 build).

I was thinking a dark grey, close to black, so its a subtle 2-tone, rather than a bright silver and an obvious 2-tone. Maybe something like a sniper grey?

Barrel will stay stainless, and frame / lower parts will stay for now (plan on upgrading some items down the road, but will remain black).

I do have the option to black-nitride, but will be $40 more than the cost to cerakote.

Black Nitride or DLC is the way to go.

I don't care for Ceracoat because its not durable

This and when it wears (cerakote) it really looks like shit.

Matte Hard Chrome and be done forever.
