Pretty sure they decided to stop production a few months ago. As for me, I love my HP's. I have a .40SW High Power and a Alloy Framed 9MM Austrian Border guard model. I'll purchase more in the future. i love me the HP

I fully admit to being part of the problem. As soon as I saw that I started looking for one as I am currently without.

I have one I picked up probably 20 years ago, shot it two times. looks new.
I should break it out and shoot it now hmmmmm |

Just to tempt.... Although mine not be so tempting with my ghetto grip job. But it feels really good and they were cheap.

They haven't released the ones I want in about a decade. CDNN had a bunch of FN marked MKIIIs both blued with wood grips and painted with black grips for $400-500 NIB, I never got one. All I want is a blued .40 Cal MKIII with the FN rollmarks.

I picked up a 1981 produced model with a nice blued finish for 700 last month. Couldn't say no. I think the original owner never fired it.
Now I can feel good about sending my MK3 to Nighthawk. |
