I wanted a 19X for a long time, but after getting a G19 Gen 5, I've decided that I prefer forward serrations, so I'll be going with a G45 in the future. I know that some people don't care for the FS or don't need them, but I find them useful when dry firing - I don't do press checks, but I use the same process to reset the striker. I also like having them to avoid grabbing the slide around the RMR on an optic-equipped pistol. That one additional feature makes be prefer the G45 over the 19X. I do want a non-black Glock as "field" pistol, where the longer grip doesn't need to be concealed, and the 19-length slide fits in the Safariland holsters I already own, which is why I was looking at the 19X. Ideally, Glock will come out with an ODG G45 MOS for me, but I'll eventually get a black one if they don't.
