Local guy got a Walther PP Super in 9mm Ultra in the shop.  No box, I think only one mag and two boxes of ammo.  

I have zero need for this, but it is kind of cool and I have a soft spot for oddball pistols.  The kicker is somewhere in my holster stash I have an original police holster for it.  

Asking $650 which seems like a pretty decent price.  

Anyone have one?  Complaints, other than the price of spare mags?

Looked at it again last night.  Very discrete Interarms import stamp.  I'm guessing a German police trade in but didn't see any obvious police stamps.

I have often wondered how difficult it would be to have a .380 barrel turned for one and if the mags would feed .380 reliably.  They are a sexy looking little gun.  For 650 I would fo.

I had one sometime in the mid 1980's. Interesting pistol with a so so trigger as I recall. The 100gr 9x18 Ultra round seemed to be pretty zippy but never chrono'd it. Neat collector piece but that is about it.
