I pulled the trigger on one of these VP9 FDE OR models on clearance.  I’ve wanted one for a while.  

Can anyone here tell me if the slide comes cut for RMR pattern from the factory?  Does it include any plates or do I need to plan to order one?  I’m looking to mount an RMR or 407/507 Holosun series.

Thanks for the info.  Is there a Holosun option that mounts direct without a plate?  I thought I read about a new version that might be coming out.

Holosun has announced a SCS VP9 red dot, but I cannot confirm if anyone has any in stock.  They were announced earlier this year so they might not be in stock yet.

They were supposed to come out and ship in April but that was delayed and now they are saying mid July but I wouldn't hold my breath just yet. The Walther PDP version is out already and available in stock at many places but I wonder why the VP9 version is constantly delayed. I wonder if HK is screwing with us due to them actually including them on the gun from the factory and thus making it a factory option only/agreement with Holosun or they are buying all the units to put on their pistols first. I am only speculating at this point.

The only downsides to the sight for me is that it has no battery and is solar powered only and the sight window is smaller compared to the 507c. It's nice not to have to use a plate or get taller sights though.

As of this past saturday the HK site had the RMR/Holosun plates (#2) in stock, they are $49.  I just got a shipping confirmation for mine about two hour2 ago.
